The seminar introduced theories and concepts current trends, issues, challenges and deficits in global health, it aimed to explore the crucial role played by nurses in addressing the various changes in global health. It also provided a critical understanding of the determinants that shape the current global health scenario.
It was 1 day seminar held on 28th December 2017, was attended by Sudanese nursing students from several nursing institutions all over Sudan includes (Khartoum university, Bahri university, AlzaiemAlazhari university, Sudan international university, Al-Neelain university, Shendi university

The course director and lecturer was professor Don Eliseo Lucero Prisnolll of the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Don has published in the fields of global health in scientific journals and has authored book chapters. His work has been recognized by a number of international Awards including the first Global Health Promotion Practice Awarded by the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Union of Health Promotion and Education(IUHPE)
