The role of this Department is to teach the basics of nursing course as a basis for a solid start, in twosemesters.

This Department consists of five skills lab to train students in the basic nursing procedures; one of these labs is considered as a multi-purpose.

The Department also teaches first aid to the staff from some companies, institutions of government and private personnel.

The Department have eight teachers: one associate professor, one assistant professor,

seven lecturers, and one teaching assistant; in addition to three lab technicians.
