Pediatric Nursing was established in 1956. In December 2012, it became a department in the Faculty of Nursing.

Activities:-
1- BSc: 3^rd Level students: introduces topics for well and ill child with clinical practice for 14 weeks.
b- 3^rd Level: teaches Introduction to Nursing Theory.
c- 4^th Level: Clinical Pediatrics
d- 5^th Level: Clinical Pediatrics.
2- MSc in mother and child health (MCH) joint with the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
3- PhD program was launched in 2010 as PHP pediatric nursing
